REGIONAL PROGRAMS

Lincoln Electric conducts several training seminars at various locations around North America that have been arranged by our local District Sales offices. Courses vary in length from 1/2 day to one week. These programs cover various topics, including, but not limited to, State Welding Educator Workshops, Nextweld®  technology and Power Wave® AC/DC 1000® seminars, and Distributor Training and Service School programs.

Service School

SERVICE SCHOOL

Lincoln Electric offers a variety of training courses for our network of authorized field service shops. The courses vary from three to five days and cover detailed instruction on how to troubleshoot and repair various Lincoln Electric welding equipment.They also include discussions on basic electricity and welder components, basic circuitry and theory of operation.

International Distributor Training

Two comprehensive training programs are offered for our authorized international distributors on our North American products. The two-week Basic course has a strong focus on hands-on welding and provides the fundamentals of the main arc welding processes. The two-week Advanced course has a strong focus on product training, including Power Waves® and other advanced welding technologies. The two programs are held on an alternating year basis (starting in 2017).
