The Lincoln Electric Company (including its affiliates, collectively “Lincoln”) is dedicated to conducting business in a lawful and ethical manner as stated in its Code of Corporate Conduct and Ethics. It is Lincoln’s expectation that our suppliers also conduct themselves in such a manner.
As part of its compliance policy, Lincoln is committed to eradicate and prevent slavery and human trafficking in its supply chains and, to that end, Lincoln has a verification process in place to evaluate and address risks of non-compliance with law generally, including human trafficking, forced labor and unlawful child labor. This verification is conducted by Lincoln and, in the case of business partners with potentially higher risk of non-compliance, a third party. However, Lincoln’s verification process involves various departments that interact with its supply chains.
Processes are also being implemented to improve the communication and implementation of this position, including communication to management, employees and suppliers, further supplier verification, additional training, supplier certification, random audits and additional internal procedures.
